Remedial tie selection
Wall ties are important structural components which ensure the stability of the outer leaf of a cavity wall against wind loads. Selecting the right tie and installing them properly to the correct density, depending on the building material and its condition, are all important.
The following information and tables on tie selection and installation is suggested as a guide only. For an accurate specification we recommend a full site survey is undertaken, which is part of the service offered by our Technical Sales Team or network of Approved Installers.
