  BOWTIE HD INSTALLATION

Mark the position of the joist centre on the external wall and drill a clearance hole (normally 16mm) through the wall.

Insert the BowTie HD into the support tool fitted to an SDS rotary hammer drill and drive it (off hammer) through the first and second joists. Fit sleeve over the tie, inject PolyPlus resin to fill the hole, allow to gel and make good.

Mark the position of the joist centre on the external wall and drill a clearance hole (normally 12mm) through the wall.

Insert the BowTie into the support tool fitted to an SDS rotary hammer drill and drive it (off hammer) into the joist end to a depth of at least 75mm. Fit sleeve over the tie, inject PolyPlus resin to fill the hole, allow to gel and make good.
